I have two 8200 Elite CMT's and I had no problem installing any operating system on them from XP to W10. All I do is boot up the PC. Tap the ESC key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen.

These memory sockets are populated with at least one preinstalled DIMM. • Populating DIMM Sockets There are four DIMM sockets on the system board, with two sockets per channel. The sockets are labeled DIMM1, DIMM2, DIMM3, and DIMM4. Sockets DIMM1 and DIMM2 operate in memory channel B. Sockets DIMM3 and DIMM4 operate in memory channel A. The system will automatically operate in single channel mode, dual channel mode, or flex mode, depending on how the DIMMs are installed. • Open both latches of the memory module socket (1), and insert the memory module into the socket (2).

Do not remove a drive while the computer is on or in standby mode. • Install four M3 metric guide screws in the lower holes on each side of the drive. HP has provided four extra M3 metric guide screws on the front of the chassis, under the front bezel.

If the system remains in suspend mode, shut down the computer by pressing and holding the power button for at least four seconds then press the power button again to restart the computer. If a problem persists and you are unable to resolve it yourself or if you feel uncomfortable about performing the operation, contact an authorized dealer or reseller. Pull the expansion card straight up from the socket then away from the inside of the chassis to release it from the chassis frame.
