Well not sure swapping ECU itself would work.coz.u might need the mitsu harnesses too.i think.but well.it'll be 10x as hard to find the right ECU than to get the right halfcut which cost only a fraction more. Well for original V6.the 6A12TT can be drop in without any hassle.as everything fits.plug and play. That's y its recommended.besides.since it doesn't require mounting mods.there's no issues with JPJ too however, if ur ride's an SEi.then the 4G63 series engines would be a better choice.since the mounts match.that's y.more of them would go evo or VR4 as compared to 6A12TT. Yes there is a MIVEC version of the 6A12 which fits the perdana.however the halfcut's rare.and not many of that limited edition galant is produced.the FTO's 6A12 MIVEC would not fit into the perdana.due to different in transmission and engine mount.further to say harnesses.
What about fuel consumption for SEi model? (V6 not worth, SEi worth as can convert to Evo or VR4 in case of engine become slow. I wouldn't recommend a Perdana even for long distance dricing since based on my personal experience, the gearing is a bit low. 3k rpm for 110km/h and FC's pretty bad for me. About RM40+ for KL-Melaka at 110km/h. However keep it at 100 km/h using cruise control possible to drop FC down to RM30/= for the same route (Checked 3 trips already).
But of coz, more money laa. I had a '99 model Perdana V6 which I drove for 8 years until I sold it last month. During those 8 years the car served me well, no major problems (nothing wrong with gearbox, power windows, or the many other problems other Proton users report). Download mastram ki kahani pdf. Fuel consumption wise, I am constantly getting about 9-10km per litre. The best I had archieved was the trip to Jb from Kl, full tank when I was in Kl, detour to Jpo, then Jb, topped up 35 litre petrol.
ECU ini menggantikan ECU asal. Katanya memang sedap, boost lebih tepat dan AFRnya tak pernah gagal.

Jangan gunakan overdrive button pada kelajuan melebihi 100 km/j kerana fungsi overdrive button adalah seperti kita menurunkan gear dari gear 5 ke gear 4 apabila memotong dan tetap pada gear 4 sehingga kita offkan overdrive button. Bayangkan pada kelajuan melebihi 100 km/j kita turunkan gear ke gear 4 atau 3. Kalau kita tak bernasib baik, kita mungkin dapat mengutip segala gear dan skru bertaburan di atas jalan.
Oleh kerana gearbox auto ini kecil bermakna ia tidak boleh digunakan dengan lasak seperti henjut terus kereta 200km dari KL sampai Johor. Apabila ini berlaku gerarbox akan menjadi panas dan gearbox akan jem akibat suhu panas kerana henjut 200km tanpa henti.

Perdana masih sebuah kereta yang bagus. Satu masa dahulu, model SEi pekak adalah platform paling popular kerana ia murah.
So if it is the same, if i could get the sport ECU(the 170bhp engine ECU), would it increase the BHP for my V6? 2) Why is it that most people when they are talking about perdana engine conversions, they would highly recommend the 6A12TT engine? It also looks stunning in white. My other uncle used 2 have the SEi version, he put on the v6 bodykit, some big wheels n paint it white. Looks really hot, but feels quite heavy becoz of those wheels.
